Heres the deal. I have 2 tickets for a weekend of drag racing at New England Dragway for the annual NHRA New England Nationals, June 3-5. They are great seats, with premium parking (supposedly), and I have been going to this event ever since NE Dragway joined the NHRA and brought in this national recognition. Actually, Ive been going long before that they are celebrating their 50TH year!
The problem is. my kid would always attend with me, but this year, being the BMOC (in his mind) in his first year at college,. he has decided he is no longer interested in this thing and doesnt want to go,
And there is my dilemma. I have the tickets, and a reservation at a nice place in Manchester so I dont have to keep driving back and forth, but now am forced to fly solo. unless I find a sweet, fun partner who LOVES the smell of nitro in the morning, is looking for a similar type of partner, has a very open mind, and. here it comes. would be willing to be my "date" for this really fun event.
